Diamanda Gryme: Enchantress
You can hear Diamanda coming long before you see her. Bedecked with baubles, trinkets and sparkle-plenties, she’s a walking costume jewelry counter. She never goes anywhere unembellished; that would be unthinkable! And that hair! Not content with the standard witch’s do, she electrifies her presence with her hair dyed bright green and cerulean blue. What she tucks between the cotton candy strands, is always a surprise. Her cackling laugh comes deep from her belly and enervates anyone within a 20 yard radius. At 153 years of age, life is good. The goblin fireplace keeps her den a cozy 110 degrees as long as she feeds it a steady diet of grubs and nematodes. Wayward rats better beware as a cup of rat’s tail tea is her favorite beverage. Welcome!
This roombox is an original by Tiffany Redeker of Griffin’s Lair. Purchased on eBay in 2008, I have made only minor changes. I added the corner hutch, the doll (by Sandy Callahan), the shoes, the potted mandrake by Bernadette Rodriguez and the print by Jim Smeltz. Most of the minis are by the incomparable Tiffany Redeker, whose ribald sense of humor permeates the scene. Enjoy!
