The Frog Princess
What are a few warts and chin hairs when you’ve finally found your prince? This is one determined honey of a princess by any standard. After countless tries to find her beloved prince, she has found him at last! Will one more gooey kiss transform him? Unlikely, but hey, it’s worth a try!
This was doll was made by me, Eleanor Kilham, in a workshop of Nancy Cronin in Sturbridge, MA in 2011. The doll head, torso and hands and feet were crafted by her. The fabrics were supplied by her. Our job was to wire up the doll, dress and wig her. Now I truly understand what fiddly work this is! Nancy was patient and cheerful to a fault, especially since I had to travel to her NH home to complete her....an additional five hour workshop!
