The Washout & The Stitch Up
It doesn’t often come to mind but witches do need to wash their duds from time to time just like everybody else. Not only that, but stitching up all those little rents and tears from flying a tad too low or snagging one’s shawl on pesky branches while lifting off in thickets, really means a trip to The Wash Out & Stitch Up is in order. Alditha Bogmire, laundress, is known county-wide for her washing technique. A firm believer in cold water washing and spot treatment with snail paste, Alditha promises your clothes will come out fresh and smelling like the bottom of a sludge pail. Why do it yourself when Alditha promises that your clothes will reek in the proper witchy way? The Washout & Stitch Up is truly a one-stop shop. Right upstairs, Brujota Batwing is ready to stitch up all those nasty little holes that plague witches at truly reasonable prices. And if you’re looking for a corset or a new hat, maybe even a new gown, Brujota knows all the latest styles. Just look at her! Anyone can see she has quite the witchy eye for fashion. Little Elynor, Brujota’s daughter and up and coming witchlet, plays upstairs in the attic while Brujota stitches away. There is no dearth of things to play with, from the little Junior Witch Magic Set to the Ouija board. It is such a comfort to know where your children are! So, if you are ever in Toad Hole County, knock on the door. You’ll be glad you did.
